CONTACT YOUR ELECTED OFFICIALS: let them know you want them to pass the Voting Rights Advancement Act or comparable legislation to prevent racial discrimination in voting and restore the protection of the Voting Rights Act. Require that election changes be precleared by the U.S. Department of Justice in jurisdictions with a history of voter discrimination or with a racially and linguistically diverse population.
